There is community oriented medical education in the curriculum. Under these 3 programs: Residential Field site training, day visits and study tour program are held every year regularly. Students have visited important health related organization of the country for acquiring knowledge and assessing health needs and demands of the population. Also students observe the set up of the organization, objectives, Goal, Strategy, Activities and Achievement of the organization. Students also perform a survey along with the observation

At present Associate Professor in the department of Community Medicine. Worked here also as lecturer and Assistant Professor in the same department. Completed graduation (MBBS) from M. Abdur Rahim Medical College (former Dinajpur Medical College) in 2006 and post-graduation (MPH) from NIPSOM in 2011. Besides departmental activities perform phase-2 coordinator from 2017, editor of International Medical College Journal (IMCJ) from 2018, member of MEU. Also carry out as guest teacher in International nursing College and International Health technology unit.

Working at the position of Assistant Professor in the department of Community Medicine from 2019. After completion of post-graduation (MPH) from NIPSOM under BSMMU in January 2017, started career as Lecturer and promoted to Assistant Professor in 2017. Completed graduation (MBBS) from Community Based Medical College Medical College in 2011. Concurrently functioning as guest teacher in International nursing College. In addition of departmental curriculum activity, serving as a member of MEU.

After being graduated (MBBS) from Anwer Khan Modern Medical College, Dhanmodi, Dhaka in January 2015, Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain obtained his post-graduation (Master of Public Health) from Mymensingh Medical College under BSMMU in January,2019. He starts his career as a teacher in the Department of community medicine from 2016. Now he is Assistant professor in the Department of community medicine at International medical College since December 2019. Along with departmental activities he also works as Gallery in Charge, IMC since 2020. He is also the guest teacher in International Nursing College. He also served as a dedicated medical officer at IMCH during COVID 19 pandemic situation.
