About Me:

Dr. Nusrat Ferdous Chowdhury, Microbiologist, completed her graduation in 2010 and M. Phil -Microbiology in 2017 at Mymensingh Medical College under BSMMU. During her post graduation training she was able to provide proper laboratory services. Her research work was associated with diagnosis of rickettsial infection among febrile patients. Till now she has 3 publications one of them was published on international journal ‘New microbs and new infections’. Currently she is working as an assistant professor at International Medical College since February 2018. She started her journey with this medical college from 2013 as a lecturer of Microbiology. Now she involves with Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, IMCH as a consultant and performing the RT- PCR test for diagnosis of COVID-19.Besides these she provide Microbiological Laboratory services, IMCH and conducts classes and examinations of international Health Technology Unit and International Nursing College. Other than academic activities her involvement in different organizational work- as a member of laboratory development management committee is remarkable.
